About Production Consultants and Equipment
Founded in 1983 by Doug Smith, Production Consultants and Equipment (PC&E) has been a staple in the Atlanta film industry. Now an employee-owned company, PC&E still serves the film industry by acting as Atlanta’s one-stop shop, supplying cameras, stages, lighting equipment, trucks, and expendables to productions all across the state.
The Sound Stages feature separate private entrances and full-service production support facilities for each stage, designed with your comfort in mind. Inside and out, they are ready and waiting to overcome your biggest production challenge.
Our Camera Department offers the latest motion picture camera equipment available with technical support and personal service that can’t be beat. Check out our inventory of ARRI, Sony, Phantom, Red and Canon cameras. We offer a full line of the most requested lenses, including Leica, ARRI, Cooke, Zeiss, Canon, Fujinon, Sigma, Kowa and Angenieux – all serviced in house by our own lens technician. Need service on your lenses? We offer that as well!
The Lighting and Grip Warehouse is home to a vast array of the latest gear. Our fleet of Grip Trucks, including 1-ton vans, 3-ton box trucks, 5-ton and 10-ton trucks, is perfect for jobs from small to large. We carry the latest of both Chapman and Fisher Dollies with any needed accessory.
Sales and Expendables stocks virtually every product you need for film, video, or theatrical production. Online or in person at our in house showroom, our sales staff is ready to help!

For more than 30 years, we’ve been a part of the Atlanta Film Community, and we take the “Community” part very seriously.
